This remodel and addition was designed with a focus on resale value and flexibility.  Each of the three bedrooms comes with its own adjoining bathroom, making the house suitable not just for families but also roommates, or a desirable short term rental.  Material and finish selections aimed to appeal to a wide audience rather than express the owners' personal tastes.  The small backyard was leveled to form an extension of the living space, and was turned into a large concrete patio with low maintenance edge planting. The budget conscious approach paid off - the house sold before even going on the market.
